'Broadband for America' is the telecom industry's latest attempt to put an end to network neutrality. Their tagline 'bringing broadband to everyone' is a joke. It's a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing attempt to marginalize the web's greatest asset - it's use as a communication tool for those who ordinarily don't have access to a broad audience. If the Latino organizations listed above truly believe that this ability of ordinary people to share ideas with the world should be protected, then they need to re-examine what they are doing and with whom they are aligning themselves. The worst thing we can do would be to kill the web's greatest asset and replace it with what amounts to crappy TV. Write to the organizations listed above and ask them why they are taking the side of the big telecom players at the expense of net neutrality.
